Sheffield’s teenage Formula 4 driver, Rowan Campbell-Pilling, has unveiled his brand-new car for the upcoming F4 British Championship season – proudly featuring the prestigious Made in Sheffield mark.
The unveiling took place outside Sheffield Town Hall last Friday (21 March), marking a major milestone as the 18-year-old prepares for his second season in the FIA-certified series.
Rowan made an impressive debut in 2024, taking part in 30 races across 10 tracks and collecting 21 trophies. His rapid rise has earned him recognition as one of the drivers to watch on this year’s grid.
Before moving into single-seater racing, Rowan excelled in karting, winning multiple championships and, at just 14, becoming the youngest-ever champion in the Daniel Ricciardo Series.
Speaking at the unveiling, Rowan said:
“I am completely overwhelmed at the support received from Made in Sheffield. I’ve always been proud of my Sheffield roots, and to represent the Steel City on this level means so much to me. Placing the Made in Sheffield mark on my car, helmet and race suit is an honour – and I hope to inspire the next generation of young drivers in our region.”

Rowan will compete for JHR Developments as he returns to the F4 grid this April, carrying with him the Made in Sheffield mark as a symbol of quality, integrity and global recognition.
