William Cook Cast Products designs and manufactures cast components in specialist alloys and superalloys for industries where safety and reliability are critical. Its products go into nuclear submarines, architectural landmarks and offshore oil and gas installations.
The company has been family owned and managed since its foundation in 1840 and started casting steel in Sheffield in 1883. It has innovated constantly since then, and today it is a pioneer in 3D printing and a member of the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.
The company has three UK manufacturing plants with 500 employees and annual sales of £50 million.
