Primetals Technologies is an original equipment manufacturer of steel processing equipment covering the whole production route from iron and steelmaking, to rod, bar, plate and coil production.
In our Sheffield workshop we primarily produce guides for long rolling mills and refurbish long rolling equipment such as rolling stands, gearboxes, laying heads and pinch rolls. The range of equipment has developed from our two historic brands of Morgan and Ashlow.
The Sheffield operations of Primetals Technologies trace their corporate linage back to 1830 and the founding of Davy Brothers. Additional services provided include 3D scanning, assisting the metals sector in upgrading plant through de-risking and shortening engineering activities.
