Cawa opened their first little coffee shop in Broomhill. The story about the quality of their pastries and sourdough bread soon spread in the area and soon the queues were around the block wanting to purchase this amazing product.

It was not long before they made the decision to open a larger coffee shop, still in Broomhill, and that shop is still there today serving the local community and became a beacon of hope during the recession, staying open to serve the local people. After the success of Broomhill, the company opened their next shop on Division street and once again this shop has gone from strength to strength. Having successfully launched these outlets, Cawa realised that the current bakery was too small and have now moved to a 25,000 square foot bespoke bakery near Meadowhall. We have also opened an outlet in Chesterfield, Chesterfield station and Nottingham station and we have just opened our first store in Meadowhall.

From starting the business with 2 employees the company now employs 85 people and we are constantly training and developing new staff across Yorkshire and the Midlands
